A Case Win for SFBBG

On December 14, 2021, SFBBG’s Matthew Tyrrell scored a victory on behalf of a Chicago-area based manufacturer of high-end, custom-designed computers, servers and related services, and their owner and CEO, after an in-person bench trial in Lake County. The dispute involved a former sales employee who filed suit against his former employer seeking alleged unpaid commissions and bonus compensation. Prior to filing suit, the sales employee demanded that Tyrrell’s client pay over $1.1 million dollars in commissions and bonuses. After approximately two and a half years of litigation, a Lake County Judge ruled in favor of SFBBG’s clients on all claims.
